WELCOME TO THE HOME PAGE OF OUR OFFICIAL
COMMUNITY WEB SITE

Please use the links above to explore the site and enjoy a Virtual Visit to our village. Most of the links need no explanation. The Village Institutions link , however, will take you to a picture gallery of local scenes and here you will find further links to explore, taking you to St Mary’s, our ancient parish church, details of our Village Hall, local school and much more.
A click above will also take you to a PDF version of the Courier, our excellent community magazine, which we share with our neighbouring villages of Collingbourne Ducis and Everleigh. Illustrations to accompany articles in the Courier appear both within the PDF version and in the Courier Photo Supplement page. Submissions for this page are most welcome, as they are for the Kingston Life Photo page
If the site is to truly reflect the community’s thoughts and needs, the community’s input is essential. So, what do you think should be included? Is there anyone out there who has thoughts about a young person’s section for instance? We promise that all suggestions will be carefully considered and we look forward to hearing from you via the contact link below.
In the meantime do drop in from time to time to see what’s new and perhaps make a contribution. As we have traditional and ongoing ties with our sister communities of Collingbourne Ducis www.collingbourne-ducis.com and Everleigh www.everleigh.org news of them will doubtless appear as appropriate.

Our community comprises the residents of the three ancient adjoining settlements of Collingbourne Kingston proper, Aughton and Brunton.
We lie alongside the A338 in Eastern Wiltshire midway between Salisbury and Swindon in the Bourne valley.

Situated on the edge of Salisbury Plain we are enfolded by gentle chalk downlands which have been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
SOME NEW LINKS
Please use this to link to our Village’s Design Statement which expresses the community’s views regarding future village development as accepted by Kennet District Council.
Similarly you can use this link to view the interesting
Brunton Conservation Area Document
which explains the District Council’s proposals for the area. Both documents contain many good photos of the village and are well worth a look.
